Have You Seen Inside a 911 Call Center?

Wouldn’t you be curious to see inside a 911 Call Center and see how calls are handled?

While 911 operators work hard and mean well, there are 3 problems that you should be aware off:

  • Operators are not required to be trained Emergency Medical Technicians
  • Actually, operators handle calls that require the attention of the police or the fire department, besides medical emergency calls.
  • Operators are overwhelmed. Sometimes they handle 45 calls in 1 hour!

Actually, after seeing the video you’ll understand why this Pittsburgh man died waiting for an ambulance (link) and why this Detroit man died, never even having an ambulance dispatched (link)

If you or loved one has a medical emergency, wouldn’t you want to call a service where:

  • All operators are certified Emergency Medical Technicians with actual hands-on experience in the field?
  • Operators handle medical emergency calls only?
  • Operators have access to your medical information (provided by you) and can give actual guidance over the phone on how to take effective action while an ambulance arrives (we’ll take care of the dispatch)
  • Operators stay on the line until help arrives and provide constant updates to the crew in the ambulance?
